Meeting May 9th, 2012 Tips and Tricks Extravaganza.

It’s our Tips and Tricks Extravaganza meeting! Had a problem with something? This month everyone will get a chance to be a demonstrator. Then show us how you overcame that problem. Have a tip that you think other members could benefit from? Then give us that tip. Have a favorite tool that you think we should know about, then please show it to us. You can have up to 15 minutes to show us your tip or special trick. Come on, show us what you’ve got!

Our meeting will start at 6pm in the Dirigo High School Woodshop. We will be having our world famous show & tell, along with a wood raffle. We hope to see you there.

Peter Walen will be coming in to show us how he makes his outstanding cutting boards. Everyone has been asking Peter how he does it and he agreed to come in and show us exactly how he puts them together to get the grain to show the way that only Peter can do. Peter also has a new website, check it out here.

Our next meeting is Wednesday, April 11th, in the woodshop of Dirigo High School. Our meeting starts at 6pm, we will be having our world famous show & tell, along with a wood raffle. Have some wood to donate? Bring it in.

Our next meeting is Wednesday, March 14th, in the woodshop of Dirigo High School. Our meeting starts at 6pm, we will be having our world famous show & tell, along with a wood raffle. Have some wood to donate bring it in.

Our demonstrator for March is our own Vernon Romanoski. Also known as our Prez. Vernon is going to show us how he makes his Christmas Tree Christmas tree ornament, along with his fabulous ornament hangers. It may only be March but it would be a great time to get started on all of those ornaments that you make for your family and friends.

Hi Everyone,

Our next meeting is Wednesday, November 9th in the woodshop of the Dirigo High School in Dixfield, Maine. The meeting will start at 6pm and Charlie Rappaport from Kingfield, Maine is showing us how he makes a bowl with an undercut rim.

Hi Everyone,

Our next meeting is Wednesday October 12th starting at 6 pm. Peter Walen from Kingfield is going to show us how he makes a deer call. This will be Peters first demo so it would be great if we could have as many members as possible there to support him.

Hi everyone,

The first meeting of our new year is coming up on Wednesday, Sept. 14th starting at 6pm. We are going to have a quick business meeting and then Kim Dailey is going to show us how he turns a small platter and then makes it into a little piece of art by embellishing the piece by dying it, adding a little texture and carving. It should be a good time so stop on by and don’t forget we will be having our wood raffle and of course our world famous show & tell.
